Agnès de Calbiac is a seasoned risk management and assurance leader with extensive experience across the healthcare, retail, banking, and consulting sectors in New Zealand and Europe. 

Currently serving as Head of Enterprise Risk and Assurance at Southern Cross Healthcare, she leads the organisation's risk, internal audit, insurance, and business continuity functions, driving strategic decision-making and embedding a culture of resilience and governance.

Previously, Agnès held senior leadership roles at Woolworths New Zealand, where she shaped the organisation's risk and resilience strategy, led responses to major crises including natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic, and championed a strong, enterprise-wide risk culture.

Her earlier experience at ASB Bank and Deloitte in both New Zealand and Luxembourg gave her a broad foundation in business continuity, compliance, and strategic risk advisory across diverse industries.

Agnès is known for her empathetic and energetic leadership style, her ability to build high-performing teams, and her commitment to thought leadership in risk and governance. She was also the MC for the Risk and Resilience Summit 2025, reflecting her standing in the professional community and her ability to engage and inspire industry leaders.
