As a first-generation migrant and a certified interpreter and translator with advanced qualifications in journalism and business administration, Lu brings a unique blend of personal experience and professional expertise to the table. Her journey from a former journalist in both China and New Zealand to a recognised cultural consultant and trainer allows her to bridge cultural gaps and foster authentic connections between China and the global community, and across the different cultures in New Zealand.

At Peas Project, Lu helps businesses and individuals at executive and board levels engage with their Chinese counterparts, offering strategic solutions for cross-cultural communication, business etiquette, and building trust with Chinese partners. Over 200 individuals have benefited from her coaching and training for successful cross-cultural engagements.

As a Chinese New Zealander, Lu is passionate about helping organisations develop their cultural competence and foster meaningful connections in a multicultural environment. Her happy clients include private companies with high number of migrants and councils that endeavour to build inclusive spaces for their culturally diverse communities.
