Sushil Ravikumar is a top-six contestant of Masterchef New Zealand 2013. Since leaving the Masterchef kitchen, Sushil took his foodie passion to the next level by working as a chef with Simon Gault and his team at Pravda Café and Shed 5 Restaurant in Wellington and operated a gourmet Indian fusion food stall on the weekends, selling street food delicacies with a unique twist combining Indian and Kiwi spices.
Over the years, Sushil has been on a transformation journey where nutritious food combined with effective training has helped him achieve his fitness goals. Sushil strongly believes that healthy eating should not be boring and when done right we should all be able to enjoy tasty, balanced food while still being healthy and staying on track with health and fitness goals.
Inspired by his love for food and mission to help more New Zealanders lead an active and healthy lifestyle, he started this niche food company, Sushil’s Musclechef Meals in 2021. Sushil’s Musclechef meals is a pre-made meals service, providing fresh and tasty, custom-made, nutritious, macro counted meals to people with a range of fitness goals, dietary and health requirements and caters to an impressive range of clients in the wider Wellington region.
Sushil runs a family friendly restaurant in Aotea called Sushil’s Musclechef Kitchen and Café, serving great coffee and delicious food for breakfast and lunch to the local community in and around the Porirua region. Sushil’s cafe caters to all dietary requirements (Keto, GF, DF, Vegan, AIP, FODMAP etc) and has a wide range of options on his menu to choose from.
Sushil also provides other hospitality services like private dinners, offsite catering, kids cooking programme, hosts community events, school and corporate functions, private chef services etc.
