Doug Sheridan

Doug Sheridan is a veteran of the Special Air Service Regiment. He served in full-time and reserve roles for 33 years with the Australian Army and Special Operations Forces. He was deployed to various locations throughout his career, including Tonga, Malaysia, East Timor, the Solomon Islands, and Afghanistan, with the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR). He also served with the United Nations in Western Sahara.

He also served 10 years as a Special Operations Federal Agent with the Australian Federal Police. Doug was one of the original Air Security Officers following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He has also conducted diplomatic protection for the Australian Embassy in Afghanistan.

Today, Doug Sheridan's dedication to service continues in managing and developing veteran support programs. He volunteers with organisations like Disaster Relief Australia and Wandering Warriors. His commitment to continuous learning is evident in his academic achievements. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Queensland, with studies at prestigious institutions like Harvard Business School and Copenhagen Business School. He also has qualifications for Emergency Management, Fitness, and Public Safety, further enhancing his professional profile.

Doug recently completed the Company Director’s Course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a Founding Director and VP of the Army Sniper Association (ASA) – Australia.
